Mark Estabrook's photostream
|
I am a single, Libertarian guy who likes to shoot film and fly jets. Some of my stuff is available as large, fine art poster prints on my website and I would be honored if you helped support my photography addiction by purchasing one.
Thanks!
Mark

KKellyS {KellyK Photography} says:
"A true patriot, proud father, USAF Veteran, and an amazing photographer. (We won't hold it against him that he is also a pilot) ;-)
I, like several others here, am really impressed with Mark's photographic eye and range of style. From portraits to abstracts, landscapes and photojournalism, to candids and post processing, his images are real works of art.
It's a rare privilege to meet someone like Mark whose photography actually reflects the good nature, values, character and spirit of the photographer himself.
I am grateful to Mark for his service to our country and proud to call him a friend."6th May, 2009

"yeah, Mark and I first noticed each other because we both had the distinct privilege of photographing music at the fabled Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, among other venues, back in the 70's.
We proud few.
We didn't know each other then, we both just wanted to photo the music scene.
Now when I see Mark's extensive image archive of music in the early Austin days I am completely in awe of how often he was in the right place and the right time capturing the best that the Austin Music and Scene had to offer. Jeez, what a pile of treasure!! And he's STILL shooting it!!
But that's just one little piece of his work; despite a very full and busy life and career he has still managed to keep his love for creative photography alive. His love of flying has provided the opportunity for a stunning set of aviation images, and his experimental and people pix are awesome. Check it out! (but don't steal it, he's a fierce mofo when protecting his images!)
I am always pleased to see what he has been working on and consider myself to be one of his biggest fans.
Keep Rocking Mark and following yer Bliss."5th March, 2009

"Mark is just such a unique person, as I see. And a part of his photos captured the moments of music history: that's why they're invaluable. And that's a really beautiful courtesy that he shared these moments with people who're interested in this kind of music...
Just go n' check out his works, they're really impressive and magnetic...
All I can say is, stay free and keep music in your heart!
Greetings from a hungarian fan...

ambientlight says:
"I think I was first attracted to Mark's photostream with the image "Harvest Moon" - a fascinating montage of Apollo astronauts and a Colorado farmscape. On closer inspection I also realised Mark is a photographer with a broad range of interests, a strong political stand point, and an artists eye for photographic composition. His shot of New York's Grand Central terminal ("From on High") is worthy of a Time or Life Magazine cover.
I look forward to seeing Mark's photostream evolve and eagerly anticipate more of his great monochrome work."21st August, 2006
