  "Today I came to the stunning realization that I've not yet written a testimonial for Elle. ( Truth be told, I don't write enough of them. ) Elle's stream is one of my most favorite to visit here on Flickr. It's definitely among the first few I check out if I've been away for a while, and if I catch a thumbnail of hers somewhere I am sure to click on it.
  
  It's funny, because in my early Flickr days, I saw her as one of those untouchable, intimidating, ridiculously talented people - I was simultaneously infatuated with her work and too sheepish to tell her so! Thanks to FSPASG, however.... I now have the pleasure of knowing that she is a very real, very sweet, and very modest person (in addition to being ridiculously talented), and I feel lucky to know her.
  
  I adore the quirkiness of her photos. I love that she shows so much diversity while maintaining her own certain style and mood. Her ability to turn everyday objects into interesting art is astounding. Her self-portraits are haunting, nostalgic, sexy, playful, and dramatic - often, all rolled into one. And always beautiful.

  Like Elle's other fans I agree there is most definitely Elle's own 'world' in her imagery. There is something about the colour and tone in her work that is almost a trademark of her own, and in her surreal 'doubled' images, there is a superadded sense that we can't, and don't want to, escape...
