I finally sold my soul to the devil and got myself a Pro account on 15 November 2009!
I bought my first digital camera in 1998, an Olympus point and shoot with 1.3 megapixels for US$500 (that was 10 years ago!). I used it for commercial purposes, mostly for creating photo IDs. Photographing school kids, making them (or forcing them to :) smile in front of the camera was fun, fun, fun!
My second and current camera is a Canon Powershot S2 IS which I bought in 2005 after I bagged my first job in New Zealand. I have started experimenting with the manual settings only a few months ago. I can't remember what got me interested but it sure started the ball rolling and my passion for photography has re-awakened. I discovered a world beyond auto mode where possibilities are endless (well, almost)!

I'm currently playing with my new toy, a Canon Powershot G11.
