    **Ewie** says:

"I've only known Bryan since I discovered the NZFM group early 2008 but in that short time I've found him to be the real deal. A pro photog who is passionate about his craft and yet very willing to help out us amateurs who aspire to be half as good as he is some day.

I've been fortunate to help Bryan out on one of his shoots and I was amazed at the amount of thought and effort that's put into each and every shot. It was a very learing experience for me. Bryan has also been very supportive of my efforts to improve and has never hesitated to share his skill and experience when asked.

A thorough gentleman if ever there was one and IMO his photos speak volumes about his eye for composition and skill to capture the emotion and essence if any scene."

"What can i say about Bryan? Well for one I HATE him..... actually, I dont. He is the inspiration to why I am here. Met him firstly through the NZFM group which he admins.. he made the FATAL mistake of making me an admin also.. now he cant get rid of me..heheh.

Bryan has such a passion for his art it infects those around him. His dedication to the group is admirable. His work is astounding and I know that each piece he creates he puts everything into. I have the UTMOST respect for him as a person, a friend and as an artist.
He is constantly backing me up and encouraging me to be the person I strive to be, and picks me up when I doubt myself.
    Thank you for being you
    SP"

Paul Green (Queenstown, New Zealand) says:

"Bryan is a rare bird – a professional working photographer who still has the time and inclination to share what he knows with us amateurs! The kind of person that makes flickr unique.

    His work speaks for itself.

His generosity of spirit speaks for him as a person.

Thx Bryan for all you do for NZFM and flickrites everywhere. And thx for your words of encouragement to me. They mean a lot."

    Birds of the South says:

"Bryan is good enough at photography to make a living from it and for that I will always be envious, but he is also down to earth enough to help the rest of us. Amongst my FLICKR contacts he is the "go to" guy if I want to know something technical and he is also the driving force behind NZ Flickr Meetups, a great bunch of FLICKR people in Auckland, NZ. Keep up the great work Bryan, I never tire of your work and value your comments of my own."

    Maltus says:

"Bryan is one of my inspirations in Flickr. He was "a NZ photographer that had amazing images". But hey, he also replied to my comments, and commented on my images, and was friendly, and willing to give tips. If you're starting around here, you know how rare this can be.

Not only he is talented, but he is passionate about what he does. Passionate to the point to work full time on what he likes and still have time to give back to the community, creating and maintaining one of the most active NZ based groups in Flickr.

And as time goes by, Bryan became one of the friends that I created on Flickr.

Nice to know you man! Keep doing that thing you do, to pharaphrase The Wonders... :-D"

"Gilowe is a real photographer (i.e a professional). All the same is an organiser of the NZ flickr meetups group and mixes it up with the test of us. He knows how to take great photos of any subject and is kind and generous with assisting others."
