Sarah Sloboda is a rock-n-roll-style photographer, based in New York City, who has traveled the world on assignment. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, The Knot, Wondertime magazine, and more. In 2007, the Prix de la Photographie, Paris, awarded her second place prize for her wedding series, "Happiest Day in a Girl's Life."

Blending a strong photojournalistic sense with a background in filmmaking, her work is grounded in story-telling while catering aesthetically to the color-conscious and those with an eye for bold compositions. She often finds her clients to be other artists, designers, those with a high-minded artistic sense, and people who want their photos to reflect true emotions through a unique creative voice.

Ms. Sloboda is most famous for her work with children, and her commercial kids portfolio may be viewed online at www.sarahsloboda.com.

A self-titled optimist, it is her mission to inspire millions with photographic evidence of their lives working beautifully. Keep up with her mission on her blog, University of Sarah: The Art School of Optimism, universityofsarah.blogspot.com.

Her interests include honoring the soul and wisdom of children, improvisational jazz and all kinds of music, healers and practitioners of alternative medicine, traveling the world, human consciousness and empowerment.

Her official website is www.sarahsloboda.com
