    ~ Western Dreamer ~ says:

"Being a landscape photographer myself, I truly enjoy all the wonderfully scenic images that John has posted in his portfolio here on Flickr. I especially admire and am quite drawn to his Montague Balloon Festival shots, as well as his images of the very Northern regions of California, more specifically, areas in and around Mount Shasta. It's a real treat to view his work and something to look forward too!"

"JPBJr. is one of my favorite flickr friends.
When I looked at his photostream first, I was so impressed that I make it a rule to take a good look at his each work since then.
He is a man who has outstanding photographer’s eye.
From him, I always get much learning of how to frame & how to use colors."

Monroe Broadway - out for a while says:

"Thanks, John for being such a help to me. In an attempt to upgrade my photo skills, I have chosen John as one of my my models. His photos are always first-class.
He specializes in Shasta County but branches out around Northern California. I have learned some local history because his photos inspire me to go online and check out the area.
He has an eye for little details that cause the photos to almost come to life. For example , the recent series of the Balloon Festival, were extremely colorful, vivid. and had sharp detail ..
Thanks, John for being a friend and for sharing your expertise and resources with me."

    Bill Wight CA says:

"I came across John's photostream over a year ago. In addition to living in the same state, we share a lot in our appreciation of photography. I see in his images many of the things that also catch my eye when I'm out in the field. Every time I visit his photostream, I find something new and interesting.

I have watched John's photography skills improve from snap-shot shooter to serious photographer over the past year. I'd rather he stayed a snap-shoot shooter, less competition! His hot-air balloon series is incredible. I also really like his images of old buildings, especially his shots in Bodie."

"I really love the way you've broken down your sets into places in California. Northern California. YOu're very well organized and it's easy to navigate thru your photostream.

The photos themselves are very artistic, you've got an eye for splendid composition and light. YOur skill at the treatment you use is phenomenal.

YOur scenery, your subjects are dear to my heart. Thank you again for bringing me back to a place that brings life into me."
