  "Ever since I discovered Rave2npg’s photo stream, I have been fascinated by his work. The first thing I noticed, obviously, was his face... Handsome and able to express just about every emotion one can think of, thus touching the viewer straight in the heart.
  Lately he seems to be less inspired by his own image but all the more by the outside world. In my opinion he has a great eye for detail and colour. Resulting in the most beautiful and interesting photo’s.
  
  Frankly, I could easily add all his self portraits to my favourites, the reason I don’t is because my contacts will think I have a very limited view on Flickr...
  Among his other work there are some I would love to frame and watch every day ( to be honest, I would like to give the same treatment to some of his self portraits...)

  "I discovered Dames' pictures by chance, as many others here on flickr. After a while going through his stream I stopped favoriting photos, since I would have to do it for almost all of them. I particularly love those in b&w pics with simple black background, they are so powerful and expressive... It is incredible what Dames is able to communicate through his self-pics, with his dark deep eyes and pale face. I just hope that this feeling of sadness and loneliness is not so deep rooted in his heart as he shows with his work as photographer.
