MEETING NEIL IS EASY is a satirical, self-centered, and occasionally funny portrayal of artist, musician and cartoonist Neil E. Klemz’s journey to rediscover, redefine and then promptly abandon his creative voice. This is an archive of his work.
A co-founder and co-creator of RQMLtd, Decaf Planet and Comics Destroyer, Neil was born and raised on the Northwest side of Chicago and received his formal art education at Northern Illinois University.
When not penciling, inking, or plucking away at rusty guitar strings, Neil spends his free time screaming and yelling at his dog and three cats, taking obscenely long walks, and obsessing over the irrelevance of his future while gorging on a delicious pile of hot wings.
