About Me
I first go into photography by taking my camera with me when walking the dog. I started seeing wildlife that I wanted to be able to record and show others. I started off with a compact camera, and then moved onto a bridge camera, and then in December 2007 I bought a SLR. (Canon 40D)
Since then I have slowly got more equipment and lenses, but I have not changed my camera body as it is still as good as it was new. I am getting more and more interested in Wildlife, I do use my camera to photograph many subjects, but my main interest is wildlife.
I will sometimes travel to a place to photograph a specific animal, if it is something that cannot be seen around my area. I have done this with Grey Seals and some Butterflies. My favorite subjects within wildlife are Butterflies, Damselflies & Dragonflies, and other insects. With these subjects I usually use my Canon macro lens and either a monopod or a tripod.
