Born in Manchester a very long time ago, before Manchester United were the greatest footy team in the world, but Lancashire was the home great cricket (and still is).
Started taking pix when I was given bakerlite Brownie 127 at the age of 9. Have been snapping off and on ever since. Love digital, and sadly I dont do any film work now.
The human eye can see a wider range of light than a camera but a photograph can hold an instant forever.
What you do with and handle that instant is what makes you the photographer you are.
Currently Programme Secretary of Kingsbridge and District Camera Club. I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society.
