Chuzai Living's photostream  

I'm originally from Japan and married to an American (or Texan should I say). We have two little girls and currently reside in Jakarta, Indonesia. With my husband's job, we move around the world every two or three years.

My name I use on flickr "Chuzai" means living overseas for an occupational assignment for an extended period of time. My husband and I pursue a life of "chuzai" in other words being an expat through his job.

Our previous home was in Arlington, Virginia, the DC metro area. My husband's job also took us to Dakar, Senegal and Okinawa, Japan where we lived for 2 years at each place.

Growing up, I also lived abroad and I was a child of a "chuzai/expat" family. With my family, I spent 2 years in Los Angeles from age 5 to 7 and 3 years in Singapore when I was in high school. I went back to Los Angeles for a year during my college year when I did a study abroad program.

I love design, interior, fashion, music and traveling. I currently work as a stay-at-home mom, but I am also a freelance interpreter.
