I grew up in Holmdel, NJ, and attended Christian Brothers Academy, an all boys high school. In 1994, I moved to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, where I attended Boston College. I graduated in 1998 with a degree in Psychology, and a minor in Cognitive Science. In 1998, I moved to Washington, DC, where I attended Georgetown University Law Center. I was an associate editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and a Research Librarian at the Edward Bennett Williams Law Library. I graduated law school in 2001. I then moved back to New Jersey. I have lived on the Jersey Shore since 2001.

In my professional life, I'm an attorney that specializes in fraud investigations and criminal defense work. In my personal life, I'm a novice photographer and writer.

Until 2001, I had never owned a camera, those disposable ones notwithstanding. That year, just before I took a trip to Las Vegas, I picked up my first SLR. I was hooked.

I am an avid fan of landscape photography, although I will, on occasion, try to do shots of people. I'm also fond, I've learned over the past three years, of photography of statues and religious/historic structures.

My dream is to one day do a coherent photo project that travels the length of the (very diverse) Jersey shore.

Into My Own, by Robert Frost

One of my wishes is that those dark trees,
So old and firm they scarcely show the breeze,
Were not, as 'twere, the merest mask of gloom,
But stretched away unto th eedge of doom.

I should not be withheld but that some day
into their vastness I should steal away,
Fearless of ever finding open land,
or highway where the slow wheel pours the sand.

I do not see why I should e'er turn back,
Or those should not set forth upon my track
To overtake me, who should miss me here
And long to know if still I held them dear.

They would not find me changed from him the knew--
Only more sure of all I though was true.
