I have spent my whole adult life working in IT; when i started in the industry 16 years ago it was vibrant and cutting edge. Unfortunately for me, I'm a good organiser and good with processes so I became an IT Service Manager. Over the years I've found the industry has become more staid and less about the 'fun' side of technology due to the need to cut costs and deliver bespoke (aka cheap) service delivery solutions, my role is to deliver and manage the aforementioned solutions; hence I'm not finding it so much fun.

As such; photography is my one creative release as i cannot draw, play music, sing or dance. I find I learn something every day and that the old 'technology' is actually as much fun and often produces better results then the new kit.
