I took a degree in cinema history and criticism, because it was the only thing I could study at the time:
for me the world was already all packed into frames.
I love all the world of the image; I love to imagine into the image.
So I also fell in love with photography, with its naked eye,
with the clear moment in which everything stops forever,
just there, just at that moment.
I love photographing lives, faces, glances, sighs,
the life
suspended in an eternal unreal.
I'm not a photographer... and I don't like the term "photographer",
I'm an old young boy that lives of art and fantasy,
and the camera for me is another way to tell about my interior world... it's like another sense of mine.
Now I work as mime, actor, animator and photographer freelance
and I live near Rome.
Ho una laurea in storia e critica del cinema, perché è l'unica cosa che fossi in grado studiare all'epoca.
Per me il mondo era già tutto racchiuso in fotogrammi.
Amo tutto l'universo dell'immagine, amo immaginare nell'immagine.
Così mi innamorai anche della fotografia, del suo sguardo nudo,
di quell'attimo chiaro in cui tutto si ferma per sempre
solo lì, solo in quel momento.
Amo fotografare esistenze, volti, sguardi, sospiri,
la vita,
sospesa in un eterno irreale.
Non sono un fotografo... e non amo il termine "fotografo",
sono un vecchio ragazzo che vive di arte e fantasia
e la fotocamera per me è un altro mezzo con cui raccontare il mio mondo interiore... è come un altro mio senso.
Adesso lavoro facendo il mimo, l'attore, l'animatore ed il fotografo freelance
e vivo vicino Roma.

il che non vuol dire che è un fotografo beat.. ma che è in cammino, alla ricerca.. è la sensazione è che non segua un tracciato definito.. ma che cambi percorso, ogni volta che la "situazione" lo richieda.. ed io sono curioso.. curioso di conoscere i mille-e-uno passi che farà.. magari tornerà indietro, a volte.. o cambierà direzione bruscamente.. questo non so dirlo.. ma credo che seguirlo sarà interessante.."4th March, 2009
