i'm a twenty-nine year old with a BA in studio art, a baby, and a penchant for drinking tea.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT:
I am striving to define my own origins through the lens of my camera. Myself, my home, my loves, my travels are my subjects because I do not believe I can truly understand the world until I understand myself. The best way of achieving understanding that I know is to take a step back and release the shutter. For me, the photographic process is about objectifying life into a series of images and asking myself "What is it about this image that attracts me?" My photographic work is much more about the posing and infinite re-posing of this question than it is about the search for concrete answers.
