I recently read a blog that argued that you need to reach your full potential as a photographer with your current gear before you buy new gear. Only when you are maxing out your potential can you take full advantage of your dream camera because a new camera will never replace a mastery of photographic technique. Since I would love to have a new camera, I am on a quest to master technique...
