I've been taking pictures since I was small, using a cheap 110-film camera, and would rarely ever get the film developed because I usually was too fascinated with the inner-workings of the camera to keep from pulling the film out before it was all exposed. Plus, no one wanted to pay to develop film that an 8 year old had taken, because how good could it have been?
Later I inherited a 35mm camera from my grandmother, and once I was able to figure it out a little of how it worked, I started taking more pictures of family things.
Eventually I got a digital camera and have never looked back.
