I've been taking photos with various degrees of enthusiasm since 1965 when I got my first camera aged 10, a Comet 44 from Boots. I've had Olympus and Canon SLRs in the past, and after becoming re-enthused with a couple of digital compacts, I took the DSLR plunge in March 2007. Gradually been improving my photography and post-processing skills (I hope) and upgraded to an EOS 50D in July 2010. Still learning a lot though, and enjoying seeing everyone's efforts on Flickr.
