I'm a wannabe photographer based in Melbourne, Australia (I'm not the Guernsey-based light-painting photographer with the same name).

My primary focus is portraiture in any form. Most of my non-portrait shooting is due to a lack of a model. :-)

I usually try to shoot photos that require zero editing. That's because I'm lazy and don't like wasting time sitting in front of a computer fixing mistakes. I'm also wary of over-editing an image such that it doesn't look real anymore and you notice the editing more than the actual content of the image.

I am an active member of the Melbourne Camera Club (www.melbournephoto.org.au) and teach occasional sessions there, usually on light and lighting. I also do private tuition on request so feel free to contact me if that interests you.

I was the co-ordinator of the MCC Portrait Group during 2004-2007 and I continue to assist each month.
