I am lucky to live on the Northern California coast in Santa Cruz. I have always loved taking pictures, but the word "photography" always seemed a bit intimidating until I picked up a digital camera in March 06 when I noticed light shining through some petals on a flower. Then I joined flickr, saw so many inspiring artists and haven't been able to stop since.

There is such incredible talent here and photographers so willing to share their ideas and techniques that one can't help but be truly inspired.

I hope to be able to share the beauty that I see with a new "photographer's eye". There is just so much to learn!
