I was born in New York City and grew up in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. That's why part of my screen name is River Girl, because I'm from the Hudson River Valley. Now I live in Texas in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. I currently work in a medical university library, thus the Library part of my screen name.

I am an admin for the photo group Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Croton is a beautiful town in northern Westchester. It is surrounded by rivers and resevoirs. New York City gets its water principally from the Croton resevoirs. There is a lot of history surrounding Croton-on-Hudson, so take a look at the group photos if you are interested.

I am married and have one son, two dogs and one cat, and I enjoy taking photos of nature, places I visit, my pets, and anything that catches my eye. Thank you for visiting and sharing some of my moments caught in time.
