I've been taking photographs for more than 30 years, since my late teens, when I joined a Sydney bushwalking club and then went travelling overseas. I love photography as a reminder of my travels.

My first camera was a Konica T3. I have also owned a Fuji HD-M (underwater camera - great for canyoning and canoeing trips) a Canon AE-1 Program and a Canon EOS500. Since going digital I have used a Sony Cyber-Shot and now my Panasonic with its great wide angle. I've just bought a DSLR: Canon EOS550 and looking forward to using it (Dec 2010).

I have finished sorting my more than 12,000 slides down to about 4500 which are now on CD. Slowly putting some on Flickr. Along with some of my late father's.

Also, our family spent three years in Auckland, New Zealand (2007-2009) and we have now returned to Brisbane, Australia. Very sad to leave NZ which I loved exploring and photographing. Will just have to spend lots of holidays there.
