I'm a Scot who's lived in Bristol for over 20 years now.
I joined Flickr in March 2007 and have been adding photographs ever since.
I started on Flickr with a Fujifilm FinePix F440 (point & shoot) but that was soon replaced with a Nikon Coolpix S3 (again a point & shoot).
As the photography bug grew I took the plunge in November 2007 to go for a DSLR - a Nikon D80.
Flickr is a great way to show off your photographs, get a bit of feedback and enjoy browsing other people's photographs (perhaps to comment, always to learn).
In a chaotic world; lines, curves and order appeal to me with a bit of contrast and colour for added interest!
