J. Rosario's photostream
|

Photography, as a 'thing' that I do, chanced its way to me by its evolution of convenience - instant feedback, exposures not limited by film nor fund, maturity of digital photography, and affordability (relatively of course).
I find myself visually stimulated more than anything else. Art, its visual affects and processes, has long been a strong interest. Though I've academically and professionally pursued the field of art indirectly, I still find it, more often than not, enticing to experiment with all things aesthetic.
Having utilized Photoshop for more than a decade now, it has really gotten hard not to use it. I've attempted to take the purist approach of photography only to find that there really isn't one - I thought of photoshop (and other image enhancing softwares) as a crutch to photography. I've eventually learned to embrace Photoshop as a tool to better an image.
There is satisfaction in always putting an effort (and I always do) to shoot as if it is to be processed in its final form, and coming out really great. But I somehow find more satisfaction in tweaking the 'final form' to produce the better image.
...But it doesn't mean all my images are post processed.
Images in my stream were taken with:
Nikon 8700 (stolen)
Sony DSC-T10 (stolen)
Canon A640 (replacement for both stolen cameras)
Nikon D40x (retired)
Nikon D90 (main camera)
I suppose, as most Flickrites would indicate in their profile, my images are somewhat copyrighted. I I took them, bought the expensive gears to take them, I thought of how to compose them, and I've spent time and energy to achieve them. What I'm really trying to say is, if you want to use them in anyway, just let me know. I'd like to know that someone appreciates my efforts enough to use, and that's all I ask. But if you are to use them as marketing tool or for profitable use, I will sue you. I don't know how the process works, but I will find out how!
One last thing. I like to experiment and try things at least once. If you have an idea you want me to collaborate on or compensate me to work on something, let me know. If it is interesting and I have time, I'm more likely to do it. I'm not here to make profit, but it doesn't hurt. Thanks for viewing!
