I always like to go back to the photo that drew me in--with Don, it was a photo in the Bull's Eye group of a colored, mirror ball (yard decoration). I gave him a 10 and the rest, is history!   "I want to thank Don for his tips in a FlickrMail regarding settings to use for taking photos of the moon during the nighttime hours. I jotted down the tips on a piece of paper and then went into the A.S.M part of the mode button on my still camera and using the Manual setting, set the Aperture to F-8.0, the shutter speed to 1/250th of a setting and the I.S.O up to the highest setting I can get, which is 400. Won't be using my video camera's still camera feature for nighttime moon photos. The video camera now just gets used for photos of the moon when the sun is still providing light in my area."
