Let's see... I'm fifty-something and work in medical research. My joys are writing, photography, sewing, my husband, and my kids, though not necessarily in that order. I live in Baltimore, though I am from the Seattle area and Tucson. I'm always looking for friends.
My cameras included a Nikon D50 and two 4x5 film cameras - a CrownGraphic and a Shen-hao (the Shen-hao being a lovely gift from my wonderful husband).

integrity_of_light says:
"Redwhisk, in addition to being my wife and the nexus of my love and my life, is an incredible photographer. Her work can find a majestic essence to things whose profundity remains hidden until she recognizes them and summons them forth, recording them on either a digital CCD or CMOS sensor, or on 4x5 film. Her macro photos, as well as her shots of "old places", are both powerful and haunting. She has the true gift of the Macro Photographer -- the ability to do more than "make something small look big" -- by immersing the viewer in the miniature landscape, so that a spider doesn't just look big, it looks terrifying... In forming a photographic business together, I look forward to discovering new realms of light and love together, forever..."
