I love anything related to art, culture, history, and nature. And how I started in photography? Well let's see. I'm trying to remember how it all began.

I guess you can say once I took a hold of my mom's old Minolta camera a while back, I started clicking away. Going to the zoos, theme parks, cultural events, auto shows, taking pictures of anything that I see is maybe photo worthy, etc.

For someone who is just an amateur photographer, I've gotten comments from friends and others, telling me that I have an "eye".
Hearing that makes you feel good. It gives you the impression that I can do it. The minute I put my eye through the lens? I'm on!!!

One lady at an event noticed the way I was taking some shots of python on a table. She was telling me ways on how to expose yourself more. And show people out there your talents.

Photography will always be my passion, second to graphic design and drawing, sketching and painting. I’ve considered many times for photography to be my second profession. But as of right now it a hobby.

I guess you can say that I have that natural talent. Since I was little I’ve always drew, and since middle school, I started painting. Then little by little while in high school I started taking pictures. You learn as you go on. And eventually you will realize and say to yourself “I think I got it!”

UPDATE: Right now I currently use a Minolta Maxxum 400si. I have upgraded my lens (finally) to a Tamrom AF 28-200mm.

UPDATE#2: A few months ago I purchased my first Digital Camera: Canon SX100 IS Powershot!! And it's great!!

UPDATE#3: On Xmas my fiancée surprised me with a Nikon D60 with 18-55mm lens. And second lens of 55-200mm. Since then I've had a wondrous time with my new DSLR!!! Wonderful camera!
