Peace Gospel International exists to empower native missions in Asia and Africa through micro-enterprise. Ultimately we and our native teams seek our empowerment from God and His Word. But on a physical level we feel God has given us a vision to equip our native teams with a sense of ownership in their work, giving them the gift of self-sustenance as they reach their own people with the Gospel. Our native missionaries in India, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Chad and Uganda multiply donor funds through micro-enterprise efforts involving dairy production or animal stockbreeding. This provides sustainability in our projects which include orphan care, educating the destitute, training of native missionaries, women's skill development & entrepreneurial initiatives— all of which originates from a church-driven model. Thus church planting in unreached areas is a cornerstone of our native teams' focus. As for who we're serving, we have a passionate heart to reach the destitute, the orphan, the widow and the oppressed (Isaiah 1:17). We're working among the world's poorest, where the vast majority live on less than $2 per day. [read more]
