Ɲ. says:
"Having just returned home from a weekend at Brickfair in Northern Virginia, I've had a bit of catching up to do reading the blog postings from the Brothers-Brick as I do typically. In fact, there's been so many that I've missed over the last couple days that I haven't even gotten the opportunity to read them all even after a full day back at home. However, one particular posting about a "Go Miniman Go" film stood out to me having admired the first digital brickfilm released for the stunt, recalled the hype generated by the contest recently announced, and even spent some time photographing a large and compelling Batman themed warehouse MOC displayed at Brickfair that had been recently used as photographay backdrop for some campaign images.
After clicking through to the YouTube page, I fell into deep awe of the seamlessly brilliant combination of virtually flawless stop motion animation, a most admirable display of world history of which I am most admiring, and a beautiful musical medley that matched the progressively shifting periods and places just as effectively as it pleased the ear. With all this in mind, I was not at all surprised to soon discover that the film had been made by the illustriously illustrative Brickfilmer and Classic-Castle Administrator Nathan "Lord of the Lego" Wells.
But that wasn't all, no sir! At the conclusion of what I'll claim to be the man's best cinematic work yet and one of my favorite brickfilms I've ever seen, I was beyond shocked to spot my own screen name listed in the closing credits directly after the top editors and advisers and along with two other much respected names; the great Micheal Jasper and a fellow frequenter of the EB History and Adventure forum, Peter "Majek" Lewandowski! What an incredible honor. Nathan, I applaud your astounding film production talents and overall personal awesomeness. From Salisbury’s Stonehenge and Luther’s 95 Theses to the Industrial Revolution and the launch of Sputnik 1, your latest Brickfilm is a true masterpiece."1st September, 2008
