Aging rocker, who attempts to play guitar (badly!). Used to own a nice selection of Nikon 35mm cameras and a Pentax 67 kit, but sold the lot whilst it had reasonable secondhand value. Now use just a Minolta Dimage 7Hi and an old Zeiss Ikon folder for some real back-to-basics stuff. Wish I could say that I enjoy using a digital camera, but the truth is - I don't. Auto this and auto that bugs me, as does the slowness and unreliability of the autofocussing and exposure systems. And then there's the shutter lag - what a pain in the arse... Give me plenty of Fuji Velvia and a decent manual camera with a set of prime lenses any day!
