Photography is a passion, not just a hobby. I am therefore lucky enough to have been able to travel for business and pleasure to some of the most exotic and photogenic places in the world. Showcasing my work is just as important to me but the choices are endless and there are good and bad points to all of the on-line stock photography and social networking facilities on the web. Flickr has many, many plus points.

One of the key plus points is Flickr's ability to select 'interestingness'. Click here to see what Flickr ranks as my most interesting shots.

I first developed a passion for photography at university, after my brother bought me a Pentax ME Super for my 18th birthday. Several cameras later and making the leap into digital, I own a Canon EOS 20D and I specialise in travel photography. I have taken a number of road trips armed with camera and tripod and they are all showcased here with some commentary. My wish-list of places to 'shoot' is never-ending, fuelled by the quality of photographs, both amateur and professional, that can be found on the web.
