I've been enjoying photography for most of my life. I acquired my first 35 mm SLR camera as a teenager in the 1970's and my first DSLR in 2007.
I'm a native of Buffalo, NY and a graduate of Valparaiso University. My wife and I live in downtown Wheaton and enjoy traveling, especially to my wife's native Thailand. Besides photography, I also love running.
Here in my Flickr site are photos of trains, trails, trips, nature, the outdoors and scenes from everyday life here in the Chicago area. For the benefit of family and friends, there are also personal photos, including scanned prints and slides from decades and generations past.
