I am a private pilot and part owner of a 1977 Grumman Cheetah. I love flying, snowboarding, and photography. I enjoy taking photos of the things I am doing to share with anyone that might be interested. I have been on Flickr since 2007 and enjoy all of the friends that I have made here. Some that now extend beyond this site and into my personal life. And yes, they have been up for a ride in my airplane! I have been fortunate to meet some really good people here. I am looking for contacts who like to socialize and leave comments since I spend a lot of time doing that to other people's photos. Thanks to all of you that visit my stream and comment on my photos.
Believe it or not, I have had several companies ask to use my photos. If for some crazy reason you want to use one, just ask. I will check you out and usually allow it. I haven't turned anyone down yet.
I have three groups that I have created. The first one is related to the last moments of flying called "Final Approach". The second group is "Guadalupe River Fun!". It is a new group for photos of one of my favorite places to go an have a good time like most Texans. And my third group is all about sharing the experience of aviation with kids. Texas Flyer is one of the nicest people that I have ever met… an all-round good guy. What is one of the things that impressed me the most about Texas Flyer? Twice I have met up with Flyer and had my eleven year old son with me and he included him in the conversation and the photography. That says a lot in my book. He didn’t treat him as some dumb kid in the way and made him feel like one of the guys. You really seem to be a kid at heart.
Flyer has some great shots on his stream and has no issues of calling and giving heads up on things going on. I would have missed the shuttle coming in if it wasn’t for you!
