Husband, Dad, Photographer, Engineer. In that order - roughly!

I have been inspired by many talented people in this community. I would say that I don't think I have a noticeable style of my own - I am opportunistic rather than organised. I am happy to edit my pictures with Photoshop - most have at least minor tweaks, some are pure figments of my imagination. For me, the art is the end result, not how it was created. Oh, and while I'm at it - you really should read the tags.

An obsession with photography and Flickr is not without its pitfalls. Not long ago when I went to bed, my long-suffering wife was asleep; next to her on my pillow was my 20D with the sheet tucked up round it. She said that wanted to know if she could tell the difference.... As IF!

She also says that Flickr is a self-help group. I think that belonging to one shows courage and resourcefulness.

On a practical note - we have two cats, one black and white, one all black (Pickle and Pepper). If your cats are like this and you want to photograph them, my advice is to go and borrow a tabby instead!!
