I just hate describing myself. I guess I'm creative/artistic. Friendly yet introspective. A woman of opposites and contradictions.

My flickr name was flamelilyfox, but I changed it in an anti video rant and someone else is using it now, and they're icon is now similar to mine too. Its odd but its not me.

"I've known Heather for 14 years or thereabouts, and always check out her latest photos on flickr. Her pics are stylish and eclectic, and her paintings have a bold and refreshing sense of colour, too. Oh, and she's bought me a flickr pro account as well....Heather rocks!!!!!"

    "a conversation among friends:

me: I've just been over to Flamelilyfox's stream looking at her photos...it's depressing...hard to consider myself a photographer after looking at all her brilliant stuff. I suppose someone made of better stuff would be inspired.

A friend: I agree Heather is a great talent and i am honoured to know her as a friend, you also may went to check out my other friends site
www.flickr.com/ph... Its a tough challenge when my two best friends are great photographers i feel so inferior.

me: FLF, I should have worded that better. You're an artist, I'm trying to be a photographer, and sometimes I get some good shots--maybe someday I'll cross that esoteric line . But there is a threshold to cross, from being a technician to having an artist's soul. I really should celebrate what I see in others more for the experience of it and what it brings and teaches instead of making it a personal ontology. Congrats on your abilities and thanks.

A friend: agree bbdoyle about Heather, she toughens me up, i now reject the vast majority of photos i take, it has to resonate within me before i post. Still improving, but the night is young as they say.

Another friend: I'm still petty enough to make it a personal ontology (or proctology) - Looking at Stoke's, Flame's, photodrift's, and BB's photostreams are enough some days to make me want to bury my camera.

Still another friend: Everybody is being entirely too modest. All of you have photos that hit me like a blow to the sternum. Grrrr!!!! and WOW!!!! all at once.

    Grrrr."

i didn't mean to go to Stoke says:

"For Heather photography is not a hobby its a passion, It is in her blood, it is the air she breaths.
When you look at her images you feel many echoes inside.
You feel like you are seeing life as you never did before, she makes the shoreline sing and soar, her landscapes are poetic reflections of your own mind, she is never afraid to experiment and try something new with her visionary eye and painterly soul."
