Currently teaching H.S. Environmental Science and Introductory Physics, which I truly love.
I started photography about 30 years ago. Did a lot of drawing and some paintings. My 35 mm died after a shoot in Florida (see Float to Freedom pics) and I put down photography for a while.
Recenly I purchased a new digital - it is fun to see what this camera can do! It is only a flat camera.
Update: the flat camera is in the bottom of a river - so I have purchased a Lumix. It's a fairly decent medium range camera, with a Leica lens. Little by little I remember how I used to take photos and apply as possible with this camera, but I must say I miss my "glass". Someday!
The photography gives me a balance to the teaching and often saves my sanity... ^_^
I don't always get to your fabulous streams as often as I like...during the school year I am usually too busy. I try in the summer to make some time to play catch-up. Please forgive me if I am remiss...you're all wonderful, and I so enjoy your streams when I do have time. Such talent on flickr!
