Hello!

I use this site for personal purposes and for work. I work for a regional planning agency, Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning , and we use photos from the Creative Commons collection. Primarily, we are looking for local photographers from all 7 counties, so that when we link to their photo, they can check out our interactive reports and blogs. We could especially use more suburban submissions!

We are trying to engage the general public in as many ways possible! If you have blog topic suggestions, send them my way!

On a personal level, I love city scenes and architecture, am getting used to my Nikon D40. A lot of my pictures are from Guatemala, where I lived for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer. I live in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood in Chicago and commute to work by bicycle year round (except when recovering from a broken wrist and /or have my bike stolen).
