Professionally, I'm the managing editor for a new online magazine, Policy Innovations (http://www.policyinnovations.org). The site is geared toward promoting new ideas on how to make globalization fairer and how to harness its power to bring greater openness, stability, and prosperity to more people. We do this by featuring policy innovators and their work. Articles on the site include briefings and commentary that highlight the ethical dilemmas of international issues, with links to deeper reading on the debates, and proposals for global reform and innovation. Just as the definition of globalization is very broad and amorphous, so is our conception of policy -- we consider policy to be the management of affairs, which can range from the cultural level to international trade rules. The magazine is therefore open to pitches from all angles, and submissions are welcome. Creative Commons photos from Flickr are used to enhance the content.

Personally, I'm a New York resident who is into biking, hitting the galleries, reading good lit and volunteering at Housing Works's AIDS charity bookstore, and mashing up to some UK electronica whenever possible.
