I always loved taking pictures - first I used a little Leica and then there came the digital area... For my trip to New Zealand in 2006 I bought myself a Panasonic Lumix TZ1, wich until today is my permanent companion, always in my purse. 2006 was also the year when I started sharing my pictures here on flickr - first as an idea to share my New Zealand impressions with family and friends... Since 2006 I stick to taking pictures of everything that surounds and affects me. I also stick to Panasonic Lumix - I am now a proud owner of a Panasonic Lumix FZ50 and since May 2011 of a Panasonic Lumix G2.

I love the early morning, when everything is quiet an peaceful.
I love the evenings, when a busy day comes to an end.
I love the water.
I love a good glas of whiskey (one of my favourites is the caol ila 16 years old) and a book in my hands.
I love music (especially jazz) and going to concerts.
I lost my heart to the great city of New Orleans a long time ago...
