Hello. I am an amateur photographer and sports junkie. I live in central Kentucky with my husband of 17 years. I'm also the mother of 6 amazing kids, 3 boys and 3 girls. I have always loved taking photos. I shot film with my EOS Rebel Ti. I went digital with an Olympus C-4000. I now shoot with a Pentax K20D. I became very active on a photography board about 6 years ago and my passion for photography took off.
I love sharing my images with others. My photo "Springtime" was selected as a Betterphoto First Place winner out of more than 23,000 images. I have a photo featured in the 2008 WTVQ Photo Friday Calendar for the month of April. My work was chosen for exhibition at the Arts De' Vine Art Show at Talon Winery and Vineyards. I have had numerous Betterphoto Editor's Picks and several contest Finalists. I have been published in The Lexington Herald-Leader newspaper on several occasions.
I feel very blessed to live here in Kentucky. When I'm not at some UK sporting event, you can often find me wandering around the Arboretum or down at The Lexington Cemetery. A couple of years ago I combined two of my passions-photography and sports- and tried my had at some sports photography. I still have a lot to learn, but it is definitely something I hope to pursue more in the future.
