I have been taking pictures for 30 years. I started out as a nature photographer, using mostly black and white 35 mm film. I was also always interested in family history and documented my family members with slides and black and white prints.

In recent years, I switched to digital, starting with my wife's point and shoot, and then getting my own dSLR a year ago. More recently, I got a decent flatbed film scanner, which allows me to scan my old film and I include pictures that my grandfather and other close family members took years ago.
