I work as a freelance journalist and copywriter, but I spend much of my time searching for good images... I need them to live. They are part of my creative process... An image is a story to conceive in words. A story to create in your own terms. I am just beginning in photography, but I am enjoying this so much that I know, this will be an important part of my future....
With flickr I feel that I am not alone in this search for beauty, joy and connection.

I am also a hug lover, and you can see a video filmed in Puerto Rico in January 07. Go to: www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_flt8qcm6o

This is one of my favorite poems:

"The Journey"

One day you finally knew
What to had to do, and began,
Though the voices around you
Kept shouting
Their bad advice-
Though the whole house
Began to tremble
And you felt the old rug
At your ankles.
"Mend my life!"
each voice cried.
But you didn't stop.
You knew what you had to do,
Though the wind pried
With its stiff fingers
At the very foundations,
Though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
Enough, and a wild night,
And the road full of fallen
Branches and stones.
But little by little,
As you felt their voices behind,
The stars began to burn
Through the sheets of clouds,
And there was a new voice
Which you slowly
Recognized as your own,
That kept you company
As you strode deeper and deeper
Into the world,
Determined to do
The only thing you could do-
Determined to save
The only life you could save.
