Tension. That would describe my relationship with photography. I believe that technique and hard work win over expensive equipment, yet I lust over fancy new lenses, camera bodies and accessories. I have a hard time passing over a new camera bag that I "need", but I'll never pay full retail for one--no where close to full retail. :) I am a rule follower, yet attracted to the work of photographers that are rule breakers. I tend to shoot landscapes, architecture, etc. without people in the shot, yet I am drawn to portrait photographers. I hope this makes my work more interesting. What do you think?
