About Me:

I love photography - and that is putting it mildly. It's a rare day that I haven't taken a shot of something in the house or outside. I have been this way since I was a kid - toddling along in my late father's footsteps snapping pictures alongside him. He was an amazing photographer and I hope to be half as good someday.

I am from Northeast Ohio. If you live here you know, there is not a lot that is photographic around here. On top of that, blue skies and sun are rarities. So, as you can tell from my photostream, I tend to travel a lot. I am currently engaged to be married in August on the Outer Banks. I hired a photographer but you can bet that I'll be taking pictures of my own that day as well!

I am new to the Photoshop frame of mind. I've used Photoshop for ages for graphic and design work but was of the old-school thought that photos should be taken as they are meant to be seen. I'm slowly coming out of my shell and you will see that I've been editing some older shots. I still prefer as-I-shot-it pictures but I can't deny that Photoshop does help some of them too!

My stream is a mixing pot of all photograph styles. I love portrait work but do not have many subjects for it. I love landscape, but there isn't a lot to shoot in my area etc. I also dabble with HDR and TTV shots. I by no means have mastered either form.
