I was born in 1959 on a small tobacco farm in eastern North Carolina, USA just a little over half an hour from the ocean. Our family always worked hard. Ever since I left home for college, I have never had to work hard again. What a privilege it is to have an easy life. Part of the reason that life seems easy is because I worked hard when I was young. The other thing that makes life easy is that I don't want or need many things. I still live a few miles from where I was raised.
