I am an artist living on the East coast of the US, married to a fabulous man. I am the mother of two beautiful and intelligent and well grounded fantastic women. I am also the adopted mother of one very loving fluffy black cat named Dude.
My favorite colors are the hues of blue........the deep and the soft shades of blue...indigo, periwinkle and robin's egg. I am also very fond of pinks. Black and white, shades of gray and earth tones are nice as well. In general, I do not care for florescent colors. And yet, they too can be quite pleasing when applied properly.
I love nature and incorporate it in my home decorating. Birds, bees and butterflies, flowers, twigs, nests and hives can all be found here.
I love the arts......I love museums, the theater, concerts and the ballet.
I love music of all sorts. Favorite Authors are: Rosamunde Pilcher, Dean Koontz, and Scott Turow. As for magazines………..Wired, Martha Stewart, Rhode Island Monthly and Victoria are my favorite reads.
I love to paint when I have the time. Water color and acrylics are my favorite mediums. I also enjoy beading, light sewing, embroidering, gardening and cooking. I am currently into altered books of various forms but I also enjoy collage and altered found objects.
I am a long standing member of PEO, NRA and AAG.
I have a degree in design, and have created everything from home accessories to playground equipment.
And have taught myself everything I know about computers and the Internet. ........ and still learning. :-)
