I have to admit that FLICKR is a release for me. I have found much and lost much here in these photos. I lost some of my self-consciousness, and connected with many people on many levels.
These pictures aren't the end destination to what I want my photos to be. But they capture the 30 minutes I can allot to play. Always searching for connections-for my world, connection is what makes the world have emotional and physical sensation.
People want to be noticed for the things they feel are reflections of their true self. We all want someone to place value on what we find so riveting in our own hearts, or minds, or bodies.
So to the community of FLICKR
i say thank you, for the solace and the communion, for the reflection and the inspiration. And namely for the people who frequent my photos and provide that sense of making sense and of being found. You know who you are and i see you too. For all that you mean to me.

"i remember clicking my mouse over the word "nearhunter" because i just thought it sounded cool, and the words just looked great together. i had no idea i would find such a deep, loyal, loving, colourful, excitable and just all round brilliant person behind the name. it only took me 3 or 4 photos to realise that we had the world in common and that we had the same zest for life and all things close and precious. More of a scrapbook than a photo library, her stream always brightens the darkest days with her amusing insights and precious family memories, but what most of all links me to lindsay is our initial deep spiritual connection that we seemed to form with our first few comments.
