Tryptophan.'s photostream |
Most of these pictures I don't remember actually taking.
Time passes in the finely woven continuity that is time, and these are tiny stills and frozen moments of a vast river we all too seldom stop to appreciate.
A more serious approach:

I'm still trying to figure out how to take a picture of my right hand without the risk of dropping my camera. I wonder why they don't make left-handed SLR's.

Comments, positive or negative, are well appreciated, although I reserve the right to delete comments/advertisements I find unfitting or inappropriate. Group banners and invitations will most likely be deleted, but I don't promise anything. Please convey your feelings through some other medium than tiny gif pictures, f.ex. words or exclamation marks.

"Sérvisku púki, snillingur, eitt er víst, myndir Karls skilja meira eftir en flest aðrir hérna á flickr. Ef ég ætti að koma með eitt orð yfir hann þá væri það mjög sennilega ferskur, á tímum ''idiot proof'' digital ljósmyndunar allavegna.
Ég bara varð að skilja eftir nokkur orð eftir að ég skellti upp úr við að lesa prófílin hjá Tryptophan."13th August, 2008

Jordan Chark says:
"Karl's a really cool guy, with a talent for capturing the real bare essence of things. I'm constantly in awe of how he takes some crazy Icelandic landscape, and makes it look like the surface of Mars. They probably aren't too far off though... :P"

"My favorite photographer from Iceland, heh, with a knack of making simple, daily things seem pretty damn interesting and beautiful! Moreover, the only person who ever thought of making me a hommage, thus deserving some extra credit, heh. :P
Seriously, he's a great guy and a wonderful photographer, he puts very high standards to his wrok which is a very positive thing if he ever decides to professionaly enter into this business. :) I'm sure he'd make it. ;)"19th May, 2007

"Karl has a really strong personality as i felt. He´s friendly and optimistic. In his photos you can clearly see it. He looks everything on the better side. He tries his best, like taking macro with 18-55 mm, which i mean perfect cause he managed it perfect!
I know that he´ll always be better than his shadow. Keep it up minn yndi vinur :]"11th May, 2007
