Just a huge geek. I created and co-host the radio program called Technology Bytes on KPFT in Houston, TX. and I am the author of the Houston Chronicle Helpline which appears each Tuesday in the business section. It's also available in blog form.
These are my images. If you are interested in any of them please contact me. I am sure we can work something out.
Most of my photos are at The Bald Heretic Gallery but I am slowly building the Flickr collection.

I keep a blog.
It's trivial but friendly.
You should stop by.

I also play in a band.
We play Celtic folk music.
We've been around for about 20 years.
Check it out.

"You never know what to expect on Jay's Flickr stream... a bird, a sunrise, front-and-center with a band, or medical scans of his evil brain.
Whatever it is, it's certain to entertain and amuse."18th January, 2010

EMG Images says:
"Jay is a wonderful personality and his images are inspirational - from his fake tilt-shift miniatures to his night images to his backyard nature shots. It's an added bumus taht I can also call him a friend."

Miss Shari says:
"It's hard to decide which is more interesting - the photos Jay takes, or the fun he has while taking them. Both inspire! Tilt-shift, HDR, low light, bokehtastic - whatever form he pursues (and I do believe he's going to try them all), his curiosity adds that coveted "oomph!" of personality to every shot.
Jay should also be commended for the loving eye he turns toward Houston, a city whose identity can be a little foggy to those outside the loop. His travel photos reflect the same sincere interest in his subjects. If Flickr ever implements wishlists, Jay will find himself with an overflowing inbox of requests.
In short, he could photograph the phone book. Couple it with his usual enthusiastic-but-easygoing narrative, and I guarantee we'd all be clicking to View Large on Black. (What do you say, Jay? White Pages or Yellow?)"15th August, 2008

Slyddur says:
"I always enjoy looking at Jay's event photos. He makes sure that the viewer feels like they are there, yet adding his own take of what is on stage. Always great to view. Sometime, I may steal his brain to see how he does it."
