2010-02-08 Update: I haven't had a Pro account for a long while now due to other priorities. I will be upgrading back to Pro soon. Once I do, I'll clean up my existing photos and upgrade tons of new ones.

I am a full-time Software Engineer and spend most of my time doing web and software development, but I also like doing photography. My main preference is nature. My wife is the same way.

We currently use a Canon PowerShot S2 IS 5MP camera to take our pictures. Older pictures were taken with a Canon PowerShot A510, Olympus Stylus (can't remember number), or any number of 35mm film, especially the "disposable" Kodak cameras.

A lot of the pictures posted are actually taken by my wife, Samantha. Since she stays at home while I work, she ends up taking a lot of pictures both inside and outside. Her photos will be identified in the description with "[Taken by Samantha]". It may also be entered as such in a Tag (I'm migrating to that).

If you want to purchase prints, you may do so directly from us. We offer 8x10 and smaller sizes (original photos are 3 or 5MP). Our prices are very reasonable ($2 and up).

We are also willing to license images for publication use (websites, magazines, etc). If a picture has a Attribution-NoDerivs license attached, you may freely use the image in it's original form (resizing ok) as long as credit is given. However, I also ask that you tell me where you plan on using it (website page link, publication issue & page number, etc) and how you plan on providing credit. This will help me track my images in the wild. If you need a higher resolution such as for magazine publication, please contact us for the original version.

If you use a photo, you must credit my name (abbydonkrafts), NOT Flickr. The image itself must link back to its original page, or a link must be below the image that goes to the original page. The link can be the photo title or just "Photo" followed by "by AbbydonKrafts". Example: "Georgia Peach" by AbbydonKrafts. I have been finding my pictures on websites with a very small "Photo from Flickr" link hidden somewhere. This is not an acceptable attribution. If you do not want to fairly link my images, do not use them. As I come across sites with my photos, I will link them below with my comments. If I really like the usage and attribution, I will also link the site in the photo comments. :-)

Sites and Blogs Using My Photos
That I've managed to find...

* TradeKing - All aboard the trading roller coaster! (7/11/07)
Perfect attribution at the bottom. I'm surprised that the one with my finger in the way was used, though. But, I can see why it was chosen out of the others (it's the "classic" coaster and no distracting scenery)

* Early Childhood Education Resources - Learning About Rainbows (6/29/07)
This is my favorite so far. Educational and full attribution. :-)

* Giving The Peach Trees In Your Yard The Water They Deserve (9/14/06)

* And you will know them by their fruit (7/26/06)
The image usage is fine. However, the attribution is lacking. The images themselves should be linked back (that's per Flickr's requirements), and the attribution link should be my name, not Flickr. Image linking: Guidelines - Under "What to do". It's also stated on the All Sizes page of the photos.
